Since the place if new, this will be a work in progress. As new issues and questions come up, a new item will be added here, so check back often.

FAQs

Where does my thread belong?

This should be fairly obvious. If you have a technical question, post in the appropriate technical forum. If a moderator deems a post incorrect or inappropriate for a given forum, they'll move it. For a more detailed explanation of the forums and their purpose, please read this thread.

Street Racing Posts MUST go in Off Topic

NAHGOC frowns on any illegal street racing, but we are not naive. Posts about Street Racing will come up, so please keep them to Off Topic.

Someone posted a Question. Should I answer it?

Well, that depends. There are typically two types of questions posted:

- Those who need help.
- Those who need an answer.

When anyone asks these questions, above all else, they need correct information. Incorrect information can lead to problems or even disaster when dealing with cars, especially performance vehicles with modifications. When contemplating answering a question, if you are not 100% sure, beyond a shadow of a doubt, you have the CORRECT answer, do not post. If you decide to post anyway, be very clear about your knowledge level. A reply that is merely a guess is FINE, just be clear that is so.

We all want to help each other out, but if you are giving bad information, you are not helping. Do your best to provide accurate information.
